![]() ![]() I don't even really want to put it on iTunes. It makes me feel ill, that I have worked so hard on this, I announced via my social media avenues that I was sending off the Album for mastering and every one was really excited and "CANT WAIT TO BUY IT ON ITUNES!!!""ĪAAAAAASAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! ![]() Popman's joke about "Whats a CD" isn't very far from the truth actually. the far more expensive WAVELAB does DDP but requires the USB key thing. ![]() Wavelab elements (deosnt require the cubase ilok thingy) doesn't do DDP. Honestly I don't know which way to go here. I installed the HOFA demo yesterday, unfortunately the demo doesn't allow you to make DDP images so I can't test that. Unlike Jam, which is a mainly text-based CD-preparation program, Waveburner allows formal pointers such as CD Track IDs and Index IDs to be seen graphically. Saves you the expense and hassle of getting the mastering house to make a CD and the resultantĬost of checking that CD and the possibility of replication a gazillion CDs that end up as coasters. The waveform window itself is intuitive and well laid-out, and is great at managing the layout of a project. I have used wave burner for a few years and burnt tons of cds using it, and never noticed anything.Īs a lot of stuff seems to have gone over to DDP rather the PMCD disks, which I never knew existed (DDP) prior to a few days ago, I was looking into something that could create those type files, and a player so clients could play the DDP image.ĭDP as I understand it, is a file that you can create that you then upload to the Duplication/Replication house, and you never have errors because of checksums. I found a flurry of posts about how wave burner had serious issues in writing files and was writing bad disks. I couldn't remember how to instal just it and not logic 9, and was searching about. I had changed computers, and hadn't installed wave burner. ![]()
